Job Description:
1. Scope of Work
Responsible for 100% Direct Procurement activities covering raw materials, packaging, and tolling for the DECO business unit.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management (40%)
· Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects related to:
o New product introduction (NPI)
o New raw material and packaging initiatives
o Product and quality improvement programs
· Act as the central point to align stakeholders (R&D, Planning, QA, Production, etc.) to ensure timely project execution
Supply Security (30%)
· Collaborate closely with Planning teams and suppliers to:
o Mitigate raw material and packaging shortages
o Ensure continuity of supply and minimize production disruptions
· Proactively manage risks related to supplier capacity, logistics, and external factors
Master Data & Price Maintenance (10%)
· Coordinate with Regional Sourcing and P2P teams to:
o Maintain accurate pricing in systems
o Ensure master data integrity (material/vendor information)
Stakeholder & Supplier Interface (10%)
· Act as the key interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers for:
o Supply chain issues (delivery, shortages, delays)
o Quality-related concerns and escalation handling
· Drive issue resolution and ensure alignment across parties
Other Responsibilities (10%)
· Support procurement-related activities including:
o Contract management
o Supplier audits and performance tracking (e.g., OTIF)
o Sustainability initiatives and compliance
· Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager
2. Stakeholder Management
· Daily interaction with Regional Sourcing teams
· Close collaboration with internal stakeholders across Supply Chain, R&D, and Operations
3. Organizational Structure
· Individual contributor role (no direct reports)
· Reports directly to Head of Procurement
4. Candidate Profile
Experience
· Background in manufacturing environment is highly preferred
· Open to both junior and senior candidates (6-month contract role)
Skills & Competencies
· Experience with SAP and/or Coupa is a strong advantage
· Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
· Advanced Excel skills
· Demonstrates learning agility, ownership, and strong common sense
· Able to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
5. Working Arrangement
· Working days: Monday to Friday
· Hybrid model: Work From Home on Monday & Friday (2 days/week)
