Job Purpose
We are looking for a dynamic and execution-driven Category Activation Executive to support category productivity improvement and activation excellence initiatives within the Makeup category.
This role will be responsible for driving retail productivity programs, enhancing in-store execution quality, coordinating new product launch activities, and standardizing activation processes across multiple retail channels. The position requires strong project management capabilities, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and the ability to execute multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
1. Category Productivity & Retail Excellence
- Support retail productivity analysis and monitor key performance indicators across brands and retail partners.
- Conduct door tiering analysis and identify opportunities to improve retail productivity and execution effectiveness.
- Coordinate assortment review and rationalization initiatives across offline channels.
- Work closely with Commercial and Merchandising teams to ensure implementation of agreed action plans.
- Follow up with retail partners and internal stakeholders on productivity improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and progress reports for management review.
- Support the development of retailer-facing business proposals and productivity improvement recommendations.
2. Activation Planning & Execution Excellence
- Coordinate in-store visibility execution across key retail partners.
- Work closely with Merchandising teams and suppliers to ensure timely installation of displays, POSM, and promotional materials.
- Monitor execution compliance and identify improvement opportunities at store level.
- Support New Product Development (NPD) listing processes, including sample preparation, documentation management, listing status tracking, and tester deployment.
- Coordinate activation programs, product launches, promotional campaigns, and brand events to ensure flawless execution.
- Manage project timelines and ensure all stakeholders deliver according to agreed milestones.
3. Gift With Purchase (GWP) & Promotional Asset Management
- Manage end-to-end GWP development, including demand collection, supplier sourcing, quotation management, design briefing, purchase order coordination, and delivery tracking.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, suppliers, and marketing teams to ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate adaptation and deployment of promotional assets across customers and channels, including banners, e-leaflets, thumbnails, livestream materials, and other digital assets.
- Ensure proper version control and timely delivery of all activation materials.
4. Project Management & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate cross-functional projects involving Marketing, Commercial, Merchandising, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and external partners.
- Identify project risks, execution gaps, and operational bottlenecks; propose solutions proactively.
- Ensure effective communication and alignment among stakeholders throughout project execution.
- Prepare regular project updates, business reviews, and performance reports for management.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, Economics, Retail Management, or related fields.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Retail Operations, Sales Planning, or related functions.
- Experience in Beauty, Cosmetics, FMCG, Retail, or Consumer Goods industries is preferred.
- Experience managing activation campaigns, POSM deployment, NPD launches, or retailer coordination is an advantage.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with dashboards and business reporting tools is a plus.
